Wobbly dash cam lets you see through the eyes of a drunk driver

Unsettling and nerve-wracking video has captured the point-of-view of a drunk driver as he speeds down a quiet residential street in Russia.

Filmed just after midday on Sunday, the dashboard camera records the driver side-swiping a parked sedan before speeding off in his Hyundai.

The driver swerves between the two lanes as he is heard singing in a slurred voice, reaching up to 130km/h in the Siberian city of Novosibirsk.

The wobbly dash camera footage even seems like it is looking through the eyes of a drunk driver.

Eventually the driver tries to overtake a black car on the wrong side, slamming into it, a parked car and finally a barrier on the footpath.

Remarkably, no-one was hurt but the driver was arrested.
