A violent brawl has erupted between Indian and Chinese soldiers at a strategic mountain pass in the Himalayas.
According to reports, about 150 soldiers were involved in the stand-off on Saturday near the 15,000-feet Nathu La crossing, which connects India's state of Sikkim with Tibet.
Several troops were injured from stone-throwing which then led to a fist-fight.
Indian Army Eastern Command spokesman Mandeep Hooda told news outlet AFP "aggressive behaviour" from both sides resulted in minor injuries to the soldiers.
"Temporary and short duration face-offs between border-guarding troops do occur as boundaries are not resolved," he said.
India and China have previously been involved in intense face-offs at the Himalayas as boundaries on the demarcation lines have not been clearly outlined since 1962, during India's war.
