Video shows unconscious woman moments before alleged rape

UK police have released chilling CCTV footage of an unconscious woman being carried across a street by her alleged rapist moments before she was sexually assaulted.

The 25-year-old victim was attacked on October 20, 2014 but in an effort to find the man responsible for the heinous attack, the woman has allowed police to release the grainy video, The TelegraphThe Telegraph.

Totally unconscious, the woman is carried by a man wearing a red t-shirt and blue jeans in the short 25-second clip across a street in Birmingham after a night out at a pub.

Her arm can be seen swinging limply by her side, a harrowing indication for detectives of just how incapacitated she was at the time.

"It must be remembered that this woman has been attacked and that she has displayed remarkable courage by allowing us to release the footage,” Detective Constable Danette Calvey of the West Midlands Police said.
