Former US porn star allowed to wear colander for licence photo for 'religious reasons'

A former US porn actor has managed to have her drivers licence photo taken while wearing a colander on her head as a religious statement.
Asia Lemmon, whose legal name is Jessica Steinhauser, says the pasta strainer represents her beliefs in the satirical Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster.
Lemmon, who used to perform under the name Asia Carrera, says she encountered only brief resistance to getting her licence photo taken while wearing the colander.
Motor registry officials in the US state of Utah determined that the Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster actually is an established religion, whose followers are legally allowed to wear colanders as long as their face is visible.
