Teacher filmed taunting autistic student

A US teacher could be fired after emailing a video of herself and the school's principal taunting an autistic student whose head became stuck in a chair to her co-workers.

Michigan teacher Nicole McVey and principal Michael Ellis filmed themselves mocking the student as he struggling to free himself.

In the background McVey and Ellis can be heard taunting the boy, with McVey asking if he "wants to be tasered", before Ellis chips in stating that "it's not really an emergency."

McVey bizarrely emailed the incriminating video to co-workers who ended up forwarding it to school administrators.

Ellis has since resigned from his post, while McVey is now facing tenure charges and could be fired.

"You hear of bullying by other students and other kids in class ... but I have never had a case with teachers and administrators bullying," said attorney Patrick Greenfelder, for the boy's family.

The boy's family is now considering filing a lawsuit against the school.
