US school bus crash injures 12 children

A multi-vehicle accident involving a school bus in the United States has injured 12 children, one in a critical condition.

Police in Cincinnati say two toddlers suffered serious injuries when the car they were travelling in was struck by an out of control car before slamming into a school bus on Monday afternoon.

Twenty students were on the bus and a 12-year-old is in a critical condition at Cincinnati Children's Hospital, police say.

Excessive speed is being blamed for the crash.
