Two injured in reported shooting at US medical centre

Two people have been wounded in a suspected shooting at a Veterans' Affairs medical centre in Texas, according to reports.
An active shooter was reported at the El Paso VA Health Care System, where two people were wounded before the gunman turned the weapon on himself, CNN reports.
The extent of the injuries for all three people is not yet known, however The Pentagon told CBS News the situation is "under control now".
Local news outlet KFOX14 said a heavy police presence has been sighted around the William Beaumont Army Medical Centre (WBAMC) on Fred Wilson Avenue and Alabama Street in El Paso.
Clarence Davis, a spokesman for WBAMC, said the commander instructed officials to place the medical centre in lock-down because of an active shooter at the clinic.
