Trump edits photo of himself to look decades younger, slimmer
In an image Donald Trump posted of himself on Truth Social on Tuesday, the president looked young, trim, vital and almost glowing.
But in the non-doctored version of the photo taken earlier this week, he looked more than a little bit different.

In the photo, Trump was in a golf cart alongside golfing great Gary Player.
“With great golfer, winner of 158 tournaments, 9 Majors, and 9 Senior Majors, Gary Player!” Trump captioned the image.
The image goes beyond airbrushing. It appears to be an AI-generated version of the photo that smoothed his wrinkles, made him look 30 years younger, gave him a more natural tan and took a few inches off his waistline.
Player, however, looks almost identical to the original photo.
The 90-year-old South African man is considered one of the greatest players of all time, and has had a long friendship with Trump.
Trump has played golf on more than one in five days in his second term as president.
He was in New Jersey to attend the LIV Golf tournament at his golf club Bedminster.
As Trump played golf at his club in Bedminster, he was accompanied by an Avenger short-range air defence system.

The airspace above the golf course was restricted as Trump played, with F-16 jets intercepting two general aviation aircraft over the area.
Trump has a history of posting doctored photos of himself on Truth Social to make himself look younger, tougher or stronger.
Last week he posted an AI-generated photo of himself in military uniform alongside two generals labelled “Patton” and “MacArthur”.
Though the image shows Trump covered with military decorations including medals, the president never served in the military.
The two generals in his image look nothing like World War II generals George Patton and Douglas MacArthur.

He also posted an AI image of himself pulling a dangling George Washington to safety next to Mount Rushmore.
In another he depicted himself as Elvis Presley, with a low cut jumpsuit revealing a svelte figure.
And in another controversial post earlier this year, he depicted himself as Jesus Christ healing a man with his hands.
Around him people looked up to him in awe with their hands together in prayer.
Trump made the rare move of deleting the post after copping flak from Christians across the world.
But he rebuffed accusations he was likening himself to Jesus, instead claiming he thought he was being depicted as a doctor.
