Don't mess with guns and nature

Mother Nature is not without her sense of humour.

When a gun owner in the US was doing some target practice in the forest, he neglected to consider his safety and that of others when he attached his mark to a skinny birch tree.

A dozen shots later and the fun afternoon with firearms quickly backfired on the gunman.

The tree, shot through with bullets, gives way and comes crashing down on the shooter and cameraman with a hilarious impact.

Perhaps now they will think trees are for hugging, not shooting.
