Suspect drags cop with arm stuck in car

A US man already in trouble with the law has shot up Georgia’s list of most wanted suspects after a policeman's own bodycam showed the moment he was dragged away by the criminal.

Footage taken at a petrol station in Savannah shows a determined-looking Brandon Adams refusing to get out of his car when stopped by the police officer on Saturday.

As the officer leans in to turn take the keys out of the ignition, Adams hits the accelerator catching the cop’s arm in the door.

Shocked grunts and groans can be heard from the officer as he is dragged across the concrete with his bodycam doing several 360s with him.

The police officer was at the petrol station responding to a report of shoplifting when he spotted Adams as a possible suspect in a fake cheque cashing a month ago.

Adams remains on the run while the policeman suffered only minor injuries in the incident.
