Student saves classmates from test by landing trick shot

A US university student has managed to get his entire class full marks on a chemistry test by landing a seemingly impossible trick shot during a lecture.

Dr Christopher Callam of Ohio State University made the bet with his students that if someone in the upper balcony could throw a ball of paper into a bin near his desk, the entire class would get 100 percent on an upcoming test.

It seemed like an unimaginable feat, which is probably why Dr Callam felt confident his challenge would go unmet.

A student near the back row, identified only as Benny, accepted the challenge and took the shot for his class.

The rolled up ball of paper could be seen flying across the room, bouncing off a wall and landing perfectly into the bin.

The entire lecture theatre erupted into applause and Benny became possibly the most popular student in school.
