Unlucky man wiped out by snow plough

Next time you feel like you're having a bad day, spare a thought for the poor guy in this video — his is definitely worse.

The man was walking down a street in New York City early Wednesday morning when a passing slow plough gave him a nasty surprise that literally knocked him off his feet.

Another truck had passed the man just moments before without incident, so it's he almost certain had no idea what was coming as the plough barrelled by.

Remember that the US is currently in the grip of a monstrously cold winter, which no doubt added to the misery of the man's experience.

It's difficult to decide whether to laugh at his misfortune or just feel sorry for him.

The snow plough claimed another victim that night: The front windows of a car showroom — whose surveillance cameras captured the incident — were smashed and shattered by the spray of slush.
