Man jumps off four-storey building

For anyone else this jump would be fatal but stuntman Ethan Swanson has worked out how to throw himself off a four-storey building and survive.

The secret, as the above video shows, it all about meticulously planning where to land.

The footage shows Swanson scout out the landing site and rehearsing the spot where he plans to launch off the roof.

At first the jump appears graceful but there's no way to land from such a height without a bit of a jolt.

After glancing off the downward slope of a roof, Swanson breaks his fall by slamming feet first into a steel spiral staircase.

Remarkably, he walks away with torn pants the only visible damage.
