The renowned architect behind The Louvre’s famous glass pyramid has died
IM Pei was 102 and died overnight, his son told the New York Times.
The Paris landmark was the Chinese American’s most famous work.

The modernist designer won many top awards, including the Presidential Medal of Freedom, which he was given by George HW Bush in 1992.
Other projects included the Museum of Islamic Art in Qatar, Bank of China’s Hong Kong skyscraper and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, Ohio.
