Hungry bison surprises tourists with car chase

A hungry bison surprised a group of tourists travelling in the US when it paced the car she was in in an effort to get more food.

The tourists can be heard shrieking with laughter as the beast extends its massive tongue – it looks to be about 15 cm long – while the woman in the passenger's seat feeds it pieces of bread.

“This buffalo chased and licked us while feeding him and the other deer in the park,” the poster wrote.  “This is a drive through zoo that allows each person to buy a loaf of bread to feed the buffalo, deer, elk, bears, yak, llamas, etc.”

In the video the driver can be heard to issue the command "windows up!" as the woman continues to feed the insistent animal in between fits of mirth.

After the woman has given up all her lunch, the bison starts licking her sleeve.

The video, which was posted online late last month, was taken at Olympic Game Farm in Sequim, Washington, which offers tourists a chance to get up close and personal with American wildlife.
