Florence makes landfall in North Carolina

Hurricane Florence has made landfall near Wrightsville Beach, North Carolina, the US National Hurricane Centre (NHC) says.
Early on Friday the category 1 hurricane was located about 10km east of Wilmington, North Carolina, packing maximum sustained winds of 150km/h, the NHC added.
