Fire tears through three-storey New York building

The New York City Fire Department is battling a large “rubbish fire” that has consumed all three floors of a private dwelling in Brooklyn.

More than 140 firefighters are reportedly in attendance at a “massive third alarm” blaze, the fire department wrote on Twitter.

It is not yet known what caused the fire, and no injuries have been reported at this time.
