9/11 sceptic crashes live Super Bowl interview

A 9/11 conspiracy theorist has been arrested after gate-crashing a post-Super Bowl press conference with a shocking announcement.

Matthew Mills dressed in a dowdy red plaid sweater for his four seconds of fame yesterday.

The 30-year-old, from Brooklyn, ran onto the stage where players of the Super Bowl were being interviewed live for television after the game.

The bold protester was resigned to only having a small window to get his desperate message out to the world.

"Investigate 9/11," he nervously said into the microphone of startled line-backer Malcolm Smith.

"9/11 was perpetrated by people within our own government."

The 13 words were all he managed before he was grabbed but he did not resist as he was hustled away.

He was arrested and charged by New Jersey State Police with criminal trespassing, the New York Post reports.

There has been no word on whether his plea for an investigation has been answered.
