US police arrest drug suspects named Tupac and Robin Williams

A pair of Albuquerque residents who happen to share names with late celebrities Tupac and Robin Williams have been arrested after they were found travelling in a car containing 114.7 pounds (52kg) of marijuana.
Tupac Crum, 19, Robin Williams, 21, and a third man Erick Harris Jr, 22, were arrested in Arizona on December 4 following a traffic stop south of the town of Payson, local broadcasters KPHO and KTVK report.
Arizona Department of Public Safe troopers stopped the white Chevrolet after the driver committed unspecified traffic violations northbound along the SR 87 State Route.
Upon searching the vehicle, police found 52kg of cannabis with a street value of approximately US$69,000 (A$92,505).
A K9 officer was called to investigate and the three New Mexico men were arrested and booked on multiple drug charges.
Arizona residents voted no to legalising the possession and consumption of marijuana during last month’s federal election.
