Elderly US man’s dismembered body found in bits in neighbour’s cooler

A missing US man’s dismembered body has been found at his neighbour’s house in the US.

Robert Page’s wife reported her husband missing just hours before the 70-year-old’s remains were discovered at the Georgia property.

Christian Ponce-Martinez, 25, had been renting at the address for three months after moving from Mexico.

Police paid him a visit, after he was spotted on surveillance video outside Mr Page’s house earlier that day.

They discovered the 25-year-old behind a couch acting “very nervous and suspicious” and then noticed a trail of blood in the backyard.

They discovered body parts in a cooler hastily hidden under two tarps.

Ponce-Martinez was arrested and charged with malice murder.

Police are still trying to figure out a motive, as the men didn’t know each other prior to the incident.

Mr Page’s grandson Bobby Austin told WSB-TV his grandfather’s personality was “priceless.”
