The model had just returned from Poland and was home alone when she is believed to have succumb to carbon monoxide poisoning from a faulty boiler.

Her husband raised the alarm after Mr Makey failed to answer calls.

The 44-year-old, who ran her own modelling school had reportedly spoken to her mother and told her she was fine just hours before she died.

Friends have paid tribute to the catwalk model via social media.

"Always friendly and sweet, I never heard her say a single bad word about anyone. And, of course, she always looked gorgeous," said editor of the Pingouin magazine, Iryna Kabasakal wrote.

Her online admirers have also shared their heartache over the model's sudden death.

"The thread of life is so thin. Such a silly accident and a person is gone. People, please be careful and take care of your families," one user wrote.
