If this video is real, it has to be some kind of record.

A London woman has filmed her ten-week-old daughter purportedly saying "hello" to her.

Holly Freeman told the Daily Mail her daughter Poppy was a "smiley, happy baby" right from the start.

She said her older daughter Paige would lean over the cot and say "Hello Poppy" to her, but this video seems to show little Poppy responding.

"She was making noises and moving her mouth, as if she wanted to say something. I took a few videos, and then on the last one I watched her mouth move as she said 'hello!'" Ms Freeman said.

"I was so shocked that I stopped filming almost immediately and watched the video several times to make sure I wasn't imagining things. I couldn't believe I'd managed to catch it on film."

Most babies don't utter their first words until they are at least one, though babies speaking at six months is not entirely unheard of.

With a Suri Cruise-esque mop of hair, Poppy also could easily be older than ten weeks.
