Swiss McDonald's shows hard-core porn

McDonald's diners in Switzerland were treated to 20 minutes of hard-core porn on Saturday night before any of the workers realised the regular sports programing had finished.

The smut screening occurred late on Saturday night in the typically family-friendly restaurant in the town of Zuchwil, home to about 8600 people, Swiss newspaper 20 Minutes reports.

The X-rated porn was an episode from the Sexy Sports Clips show which aired on the German sports channel Sport 1.

It reportedly started playing after the regular sports programming finished.

It is reported only a small group of men were in the diner when the porn started screening and they did not mind the racy entertainment.

"We were only a group of men so it didn't bother us," one diner told 20 Minutes.

"But what would have happened if there was a family in the restaurant at that time?"

An employee noticed the porn after about 20 minutes and changed the channel back to the regularly advised programming, Eurosports.

McDonald's spokeswoman Aglaë Strachwitz said sometimes workers will "change the channel to please a customer," and in this instance the error was pardonable.

"If our employees didn't immediately realize (there was porn showing) it's because they were concentrating on our customers and their work."
