The clock has just struck midnight in London and the British royal family's newest prince has turned one.
Prince George Windsor has spent his first year being whisked around the world on a number of royal tours with his parents William and Kate, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.
Midnight on July 22 in Great Britain rolled around at 9am today Sydney time, but the royal infant is not likely to start celebrating until later in the day.
The little prince has already built up a wide experience of the world, taking in the sights of Australia and New Zealand.
He also appeared with his parents on the front of magazine Vanity Fair earlier this month.
The prince was born on an auspicious date for the British crown, which combined the kingdoms of England and Scotland to form the United Kingdom on July 22, 1706.
