Man rescues cat from River Thames

A passer-by has been called a hero after he saved a cat that fell into London's River Thames.

Felix, who is known as the official cat of the Royal Docks Management Authority (RoDMA) in London, was playing when she tumbled off the dock and into the water, Metro UK reports.

Video shows a man running to the dock and pulling Felix out of the water by the scruff of her neck.

Felix did not suffer any "injury or trauma" during the ordeal, the RoDMA said in a statement.

"She also seems to be completely unaware that the rest of the RoDMA team have been laughing behind her back," the statement read.
