Giant floral bull parades down street in The Netherlands

A gigantic mechanical bull covered in hundreds of thousands of flowers has taken out first prize at a flower festival in The Netherlands.

The Hooiland group's giant bovine took out both the public and the jury prize by a considerable margin in the Corso 2015 contest that took place on Sunday.

A video of a parade featuring the float titled 'Rampaging' shows the enormous bull gliding down a suburban street moving its head up and down and showing off its many moving parts.

The bull is made up of around 280,000 dahlias and was built with the help of a number of volunteers as well as members of the Hooiland group, which takes part in Corso every year.
