A famously steep street in Bristol, UK, has been transformed into a giant waterslide as part of an interactive art project.

The iconic Park Street was cleared of traffic in order to construct the 91m long slide which was doused in water and dish soap to ensure a super slippery ride.

360 fortunate lottery winners scored the prize to be publicly soaked as they hurtled down the historic road – at a seven percent slope.

The waterslide is part of an art installation summer series made by artist Luke Jerram who named the ingenious creation a "Park and Slide" adding that it was an "architectural intervention".
