Technology billionaires dominate the world's top 10 richest people for 2025, according to Forbes magazine, but their fortunes have taken a hit.

The super billionaires - who are all men - were a collective $US157 billion ($250 billion) poorer due to falls on the US share markets triggered by Donald Trump's wave of tariffs.

Despite the declines in the fortunes, they're still worth a whopping $US1.73 trillion as the beginning of April. Click through to see who they are.

The French citizen who built the largest luxury goods company in the world brands, including brands Louis Vuitton, Christian Dior, headed the global rich list for much of 2023 and part of 2024.

He still makes the top 10 today, with a net worth of $US161 billion.

Buffet, known as the "Oracle of Omaha," is one of the most successful investors of all time.

The 94-year-old was the only member of the top 10 to record an increase in his fortune - rising $US4.8 billion in March - to take it to $US165.9 billion.

Larry Ellison, the joint founder of software company Oracle, was another who took a major hit to his wealth when his fortune sank by $US30 billion last month.

It is now worth $US175 billion.

Amazon chairman Jeff Bezos overtook Mark Zuckerberg to grab number two spot in spite of taking a US20 billion hit to his fortune.
