Thousands of tiny ducklings filmed flocking to water for the first time

The incredible moment thousands of excited tiny Chinese ducklings went swimming for the very first time has been captured on camera.

In the video posted to Chinese social media site Weibo, the cameraman filming can be heard laughing as the herd of fluffy creatures race to water full of enthusiasm.

The tiny yellow birds - with the occasional black or brown duckling for diversity - can be heard chirping with excitement as they follow each other to the water, at a duck farm in the eastern coastal province of Jiangsu.

Duck farmers apparently introduce the birds to water to help them get used to it, as well as helping them exercise.
