'Subway surfers' almost squashed by oncoming train

A thrill-seeking trio of "subway surfers" have filmed the moment they knocked directly on death's door and survived.

The three men were filmed walking inside a train tunnel at Chatsworth, in Los Angeles's San Fernando Valley.

A fourth person, who was walking behind them, filmed the incident.

The graffiti-covered walls of the tunnel become darker as the men travel further in.

They frantically sprint through the tunnel, before they realise the danger of an oncoming train.

"Train, train, train, run for your life!" one of the men yells.

"Holy s---, run, run, run, run!"

All four men manage to escape with just seconds to spare.

It is believed none of them were injured.

The video has been viewed more than 222,500 times since being uploaded to YouTube in July, but has recently started trending online.

Many commenters have recently lambasted the lads for their risky endeavour and the impact it could have had on others.

"When train drivers first get the job, they are told what to do when they kill someone, not if. Stay off the f---ing rail lines," one user wrote.

"Bit f---ed for the train operator though, they get PTSD when they see people get flattened right in front of them," another added.
