Smoker blows up street with cigarette

A smoker has been launched across a city footpath after blowing up street corner by throwing a cigarette down a sewer.

CCTV posted yesterday from Tehran, Iran shows a man in a suit jacket dumping garbage down a tiny hole in the footpath before a smoker comes over to dispose of his butt.

As the second man takes one last toke he drops his used cigarette down the sewer hole.

The security camera shakes as the footpath is obliterated by a huge explosion that briefly blocks out the video with a cloud of debris.

When the dust settles the injured man can be seen crawling on his stomach from the recently formed crater, leaving his charred shoes behind.

The viral video has already been seen more than a million times since it was shared on social media.
