Sloth Institute in Costa Rica looks after orphaned baby sloths

A Costa Rican "sloth institute" looks after baby sloths who have lost their mothers.

The organisation aims to facilitate research, collaborate with similar groups, and educate the public.

Co-founder Sam Trull said the public were usually unaware of how playful the animals can be.

"How can I not be drawn to species that just want to eat their leaves, relax in the sunshine, and the breeze and have a good scratch?" she told Bored Panda.

"In addition - they have a very curious and playful side, something most people have never and will never see."
