Skateboarder crashes head first into oncoming car

A skateboarder has crashed at the worst possible time, losing balance and smashing headfirst into an oncoming car while riding down a hill in Mexico.

Luis Mangujano, 19, was hurtling along on his longboard with friends near Tonala in Gudalajara when he lost control and crashed onto the road, just as a car was coming towards him.

Luckily for Mr Mangujana, who was wearing a helmet, the driver was paying attention to the road, and was able to brake just in time and avoid a potentially grisly crash.

The footage was uploaded to YouTube on Tuesday, with Mr Mangujana reportedly escaping unscathed, bar a few cuts and bruises.
