Man, 22, dies after shooting at Nashville shopping centre
A young man has died and a suspected shooter is in custody following a shooting at a shopping centre in Nashville.
Police responded to reports of a shooting at the Opry Mills Mall, saying what appears to be an "ongoing dispute" between two males resulted in gunfire.
A physical altercation took place between the pair before a 22-year-old man was shot and transported to hospital in a critical condition. Police have since confirmed he has died.
There were no further reported injuries, according to the Nashville Fire Department.
The suspected gunman, also aged 22, is being interviewed by police after he left the building and immediately handed himself in.
Officers are sweeping the shopping centre as a precaution but say no additional imminent threat is known.
