'World's toughest great white shark' photographed in incredible detail
Circling in the waters off Mexico is a 680 kilogram, scarred "dinosaur" of a great white shark.
Photographer Euan Rannachan had an incredible encounter with the beast called "Brutus", while cage diving in Guadalupe Island last month.
In the videos and photos Mr Rannachan managed to capture, Brutus shows off his scars while hunting a seal.

Mr Rannachan said Brutus easily lived up to his reputation as the world's toughest great white.
"He was very annoyed at a sealion that was swimming around him in circles," he told 9news.com.au.
"I could see him getting progressively aggravated and started taking it out on the bait we use to bring them in.
"He hung out with me for over 30 minutes and gave me loads of opportunities to snap him in action."

The east coast of the Americas is seeing its great white shark population boom.
Director of the Shark Lab at California State University Chris Lowe previously told 9news.com.au the increase in numbers can be chalked up to two things.
"Great whites became protected and the use of gill nets were banned," Dr Lowe said.
"Their biggest population growth has been since the 90s."
