Community 'devastated' after two child rowers killed during lightning strike in Florida
A community has been left "devastated" by the deaths of two young student rowers who were killed by an apparent lightning strike in Florida.
Five children were practicing rowing at Lake Fairview in Orlando when they were caught up in the strike on Thursday.
The incident caused the rowboat to capsize. Three children escaped with their lives, one was transported to hospital and the body of another was found in the lake in the following 24 hours.

Earlier this morning, the second injured child succumbed to their injuries and died in hospital.
"Preliminary reports indicate lightning struck the area," a Florida fire department told ABC News.

"It is with broken hearts that we share the passing of a second rower involved in last Thursday's weather-related tragedy," North Orlando Rowing wrote on Facebook at the weekend.
"The NOR community is devastated and continues to focus on supporting our affected families and our entire NOR team during this difficult time.
