Russian cosmonaut has a breakdown on his way to the ISS

Footage from inside a Soyuz spacecraft has proven even cosmonauts lose their cool after a Russian was recorded having a breakdown on his way to the International Space Station.

The 2015 footage taken from Russian cosmonaut Gennady Padalka, Mikhail Kornienko and US astronaut Scott Kelly's trip to space, was recently translated and republished showing one of the men lamenting having to spend 12 months in the International Space Station.

Padalka, who has spent 878 days in space, can be heard complaining to his crew about having to say goodbye to his family.

"I love all these farewell, launches and all that s--t. And then I ask myself 'why the f--k did I come here'," he said.

"I'm thinking, why the f--k do I need all that right? No f--k it. I'm done with this, this is my last time."

Kornienko can be heard laughing and dismissing his colleague's claim.

"Let's see, if you fly again you'll owe me a bottle of vodka."
