Runaway deer scores miraculous goal

A runaway deer has become an unlikely global sporting star after invading a children's football match and scoring a goal.

In scenes that beggared belief, the deer somehow entered a field where a number of junior matches were being played and raced between the young footballers toward a nearby forest.

If the sight wasn't strange enough, the deer then scored a miraculous goal by deflecting a ball that had been kicked in its direction.

It's fair to say that we wouldn't have believed this story if we hadn't seen it with our own eyes.
