Rooftoppers film themselves dangling off the edge of a Chinese skyscraper

A trio of rooftoppers have filmed themselves dangling without harnesses 384-metres above the ground on the peak of a Chinese skyscraper.

The hair-raising footage posted online by Vitaliy Raskalov shows three men perched at the top of the 28th tallest building in the world giving spectators a 360 degree experience with the help of a selfie stick.

Posted on Thursday, the video show the men break into the 384-metre Shun Hing Square Tower and proceed to the roof. Once there the climbers scale a 59-metre spire without the aid of safety harnesses.

Vitaliy Raskalov has spent the last few years scaling some of the world's most famous structure including the Moscow Bridge in Ukraine; Christ the Redeemer in Rio de Janeiro and Sagrada Familia in Barcelona.

While rooftopping has become a global craze, law enforcement officials have lambasted the actions of any individuals participating in the trend citing the dangers to themselves and others below.
