Actor and comedian Richard Belzer dies aged 78

Actor and comedian Richard Belzer has died aged 78.
Belzer was best known for his role in the Law And Order franchise as John Munch, but had a film and television career spanning decades, including a five-year stint on Saturday Night Live.
He also wrote multiple books, focusing particularly on conspiracy theories surrounding the assassination of US President John F Kennedy.

He retired from acting in 2016.
The cause of his death is unknown.
