Paraglider crash lands on Thailand beach

A paraglider has been filmed making a horizontal crash landing on a Thailand beach.
The footage shows the unidentified male sail over the popular tourist beach almost as if in slow motion, before plummeting to the sand with a sickening thud.
Two men can be overheard joking in another language before the gravity of the situation takes hold.

"Oh my goodness," one of them says, moments before the potentially-fatal impact.
The victim is yet to be identified.
It is not known whether he suffered any serious injuries as a result of the fall.
