Ocean of ducks stop traffic in Thailand

It is akin to something out of Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds.

Hundreds of ducks have been filmed bringing traffic to a standstill as they attempted to waddle across a country road in Thailand.

The video was uploaded to Facebook at the weekend by user Jack Charan, who states in his profile that he lives in Bangkok, Thailand.

Little is known about the footage, including where exactly it was filmed, although Mr Charan says it was on a "rural road".

ninemsn has reached out to Mr Charan but so far been unable to verify the legitimacy of the video.

But it would not be the first time a flock of ducks has created a scene in Thailand.

In 2012, a similarly fascinating video emerged showing a wave of ducks being herded through a rice paddy field.
