NFL star crashes Sean Spicer’s White House press briefing

NFL star Rob “Gronk” Gronkowski made a cameo appearance at Sean Spicer’s White House press briefing.

A surprised press secretary Sean Spicer could only laugh when he turned around and saw Gronkowski open a door and ask him whether he needed “any help”.

“I think I got this, but thank you,” Spicer responded.

Gronkowski and members of the New England Patriots were at the White House to be honoured for their win in the Super Bowl LI earlier this year.

The 27-year-old was no stranger to the White House, having visited former president Barack Obama after the Super Bowl XLIX win in 2015.

New England Patriots CEO Robert Kraft awarded President Donald Trump with a helmet and jersey bearing the president’s name.

Notably absent from the White House visit today was star quarterback Tom Brady, who cited “personal family matters” as his reason for not attending.
