News anchor sparks laughter with accidental innuendo

A US news team were reduced to fits of laughter after an anchor made an awkward joke on-air.

Picking up on an end to a live cross with a reporter, the anchor from channel WGRZ in Buffalo, New York, turned to the female presenter and said she loved “doing it herself”.

The woman replied, "Sometimes, yes I can”, which sent the pair into fits of laughter.

“I’m here doing the weather and I can see what is happening in the background,” she said.

“It’s always some kind of shenanigans.”
