New Russian cases below 10,000 for 3rd day

Russia has reported 8926 new cases of coronavirus in the past 24 hours, pushing its nationwide case tally to 290,678.

Monday's daily rise in cases was for the third day in a row below 10,000, a threshold it had been above for much of May.

Russia's coronavirus task force said 91 people had died overnight, bringing the toll to 2722.
