Near death crash captured on camera

A motorist's dashcam video shot over the weekend demonstrates why "cover your load" and "don't try to do 60km/h through a large roundabout in a truck" are such valuable road-use principles.

The Russian man was approaching a roundabout when a semi-trailer carrying scrap metal entered the roundabout with a little too much enthusiasm, tipping over sideways and spilling its load.

If the man had pulled up just a little bit closer, he would have been seriously hurt or killed.
