A British motorist has felt the full effect of instant karma after dangerously overtaking a motorbike before losing control of their vehicle.

Dashcam footage from a motorbike rider in Britain shows the moment the driver, in a Mitsubishi Evo, cuts him off at an intersection.

“Bloke in an Evo thinks his driving talent is his and not the car's – WRONG!” the rider wrote, posting a video of the moment to YouTube.

The Evo had been queued up in a right-turn only lane, and shortly after the light went green and the motorbike rider took off, the vehicle sped up beside him, overtaking him and narrowly avoiding a collision.

“If he'd have clipped me I'd be in hospital right now with broken limbs,” the rider wrote in a post on Mitsubishi forum.

Moments later the car lost control, spinning out across two lanes and into a cross road in a plume of smoke.

“Bell end!” the rider can be heard yelled at the driver as he rides past shaking his fist.

The term is offensive British slang the rider explained on YouTube.

“Standard term for people like him,” he said.
