Fearless man gives lion a bath

A fearless man has been filmed manhandling a full-grown lion as he gives the creature a bath in a Yemeni zoo.

The video shows the giant cat arching its back and purring with joy as the keeper wipes it down.

But not every moment proves enjoyable for the lion, as it throws his head back and bares its teeth.

When the lion appears irritated, the man pushes the beast's head down and shouts "sit down", forcing it to obey.

At one point the lion defies the man, trotting away from his water bucket.

But it soon heeds its keeper's command and rolls over for one last scrub.
