Egypt has declared a curfew from 7pm to 6am for two weeks starting on Wednesday to counter the spread of coronavirus.
Prime Minster Moustafa Madbouly said on Tuesday that most public service providers would shut their doors and those who violated the curfew would be subject to measures under Egypt's emergency laws.
Egypt, the Arab World most populous country, has 366 confirmed cases and 21 fatalities, including two senior military officers.
