Man slips, plunges into canyon crevasse
A man has been filmed peering curiously over the edge of a French canyon and then suddenly losing his footing.
Video shows the wetsuited adventurer plunging 6m down a gaping crevasse of the Canyon Groin in the Rhône-Alpes region of southeast France.
The man lands with a splash into water at the bottom of the canyon as the group he is travelling with look on in horror, having had almost no time to react.

French news website Koreus reports the man escaped the fall uninjured.
